Adsl error 721

Hello,
I have two pc (a laptop and a fix) using the same Windows XP Service Pack 3.When I try to connect to internet with the modem AXESSTEL d1900, the computer displays the error 721 , I will insist to connect.
how do I connect more easily with my laptop ? and if there is a driver for this modem under vista please send me.

After receiving this error wait 15 minutes and then restart your computer. Once it has restarted wait until all applications have completely loaded before trying to reconnect.

If there are no network outages being reported the problem may originate from your computer. In this case recreate your Internet Dial Up Connection. If your problem has still not been resolved uninstall and reinstall your Broadband modem. For information on how to do this click on your modem

here is what you can do in case of error ADSL 721:

• If you have a VIA chipset, update it. off the modem.
• Modem ECI Error 721, a 721 error may be caused by a problem of VPI VCI. Pour les changer (ou les réinitialiser) To change (or reset)
• Go to Start / Programs / Modem ECI / Setup / Configuration
• Verify that the VPI is 8
• Put the VCI to 67 if it is a 35 or vice versa.
• Restart the PC.
• If it does not pass, replace the VCI has the right value, it will effectively reset the values.
• Restart and retry
