How to increase Airtel mobile office speed ?

I am using Airtel Mobile mobile office service to access internet on PC. On airtel i am getting less speed 25 to 30 kbps speed. but where as my friend getting 50 kbps speed ?

Why i am getting less speed ? can you hel me ?

Steps to access internet connection faster :

1. control panel > Network Connections > (select your dial up network) >properties
2. on the general tab , below the list of modems,press d 'configure' button
3.Here you will see the dialog for the maximum speed for the modem port,
4. select the maximum speed given.

i am getting upto 90 kbps downloading speed. i have donwloaded tcp optimizer. after that increase the speed and restart computer its all done.

Why i am getting less speed ?

If I am not wrong this also depends on the mobile you are using. First check the capability of the mobile modem, compare it with your friends mobile phone. If your friends mobile's modem has more capability that your mobile's modem, then I think his internet speed will be more than your internet speed. One more thing I would like to say is, this also depends on the network, do you have full network from the place you browse to internet. Even this may effect the internet speed.
