Tata Teleservices Limited, India’s youngest and fastest-growing telecom service provider, has launched its much-awaited telecom operations in the Jammu & Kashmir Circle—thereby achieving a major landmark of emerging as a pan-India operator. The company is introducing an exciting range of products under the Tata Indicom umbrella—pre-paid and post-paid mobile phone services, fixed wireless telephony (Walky Talky) and a host of value-added services.
To increase its national footprint, Tata Teleservices Limited envisages an investment of over Rs 100 crore in the J&K Circle in the first phase. With this launch today, TTSL will provide seamless coverage in 29 towns of Jammu & Kashmir and 36 more towns will come up shortly.
On the occasion of the launch, Tata Indicom also introduced its successful ‘Go Active’ pack for Rs 199, with an introductory tariff of Re 0.50 for all local calls and STD @ Re 1.

Tata Indicom products & services will be available at exclusive Tata Indicom Showrooms and several retail selling points across the state. The company has over 100 cell sites already in place and with Phase II of the services rollout around the corner, this number is expected to grow substantially. Tata Indicom has deployed its state-of-the-art CDMA network in the J&K Circle which allows superior voice quality and data connectivity. The CDMA advantage ensures improved call quality with better and consistent sound, minimum call drops, enhanced privacy and network efficiency.
