    No sound?

    Hi Lads, I have a packard bell/nec pc that I recently got back from my so called pc tech mate.He fixed the problem I was having but said my pc has no sound and that I need to get a 945 chipset? Can anyone help me with this? I'm not to savvy on the tech side, so if you can explain in laymans that'd be great!

    If you have your motherboard cd that came with your motherboard than you can install the sound drivers from it only.
