Realtek ALC888 HD audio card

I am using X-Fi Xtreme Music but I tested onboard Realtek ALC888 HD codec which seems to be good. So can anyone tell me which is good and for what?

I had using Realtek ALC650,and its sound management options, and an output signal are weak, now I am planing to buy ALC888 ? Is it compactable with windiows XP?

Zelda , I am using ALC888 Codecs that contain Dolby Digital output. Its good? I'll recommend you that.
