Sandisk released the first 4TB SSD drive

Sandisk finally launched its first 4TB SSD hard drive. This will be a big news for many. Today SSD's ar costlier but slowly they are getting into budget due to rise in technology. Sandisk took a real giant leap to release the first high capacity SSD drive for many. The price of this drive is not yet revealed. It looks there is still time to sell this one. I hope this will come at a affordable price. Just adding this one is more than enough for any gaming pc.

This has been just released and surely the cost will be high. But this one is really great news for high capacity SSD drives. It is going to be rocking when you have this much storage in your system and that also a SSD drive. Because it is based on flash chips which are really faster. I am sure this is enough to give more than 400mbps of transfer speed. I have a 64GB SSD that I use for gaming only. Performance on that is really awesome.

Optimus MAX 4TB by Sandisk is actually designed for data servers. That means for those who need reliable storage solution. Still today many data server are running on regular internal hard drive. The output is slow due to that and also always there is a risk of facing damage. Ths is not a regular SSD. It is a SAS SSD. SAS is a Seagate's technology that improve the drive performance and also makes it reliable.
