Monarch 9416 XL Printer driver for Windows 7

I have recently connected my Monarch 9416XL printer in Windows 7 64bit computer and it is not printing properly. Intially when I connect the printer then the OS will try to install the printer driver like an "unspecified device". I think this problem is occuring because there is no drivers for this 64bit OS. So, does anyone know if there is any printer driver available for Windows 7? Thanks

There is no doubt that the problem is occuring because of the printer driver because it is not compatible with your Windows 7 64bit operating system. You will have to contact the printer manufacturer and ask them whether there is working drivers available for Windows 7 64bit? If not then I assume you will need to install Windows XP to get this printer working.

It seems that the Monarch printers are supported by NiceDrivers Windows Drivers by Euro Plus. Sowhat you need to do is download the NiceLabelSE_v5.2.3_(Build_4024)_B.exe from this link and then install it in your computer. After that there are also some USB drivers that you will need to install, just download the CDM 2.08.24 exe file from here and install it as well. Now check if the printer works in your Windows 7 64bit edition or not.

If the above solution doesnt work for you, then try to install the Vista driver for this Monarch 9416 XL Printer and install it in your pc in compatibility mode. To do the same, you will need to right click on the exe file of the driver and then click on Properties. After that click on the Compatability tab when a Windows pops up and then just tick mark the "Run this program in compatability mode" option in the given option below and choose Vista. Click apply and then click ok and then try to install the driver with admin rights.
