Digital camera under 20k

I am going out on a vacation and my handy cam has turned faulty so I am planning to buy a good digital camera under 20k. I do see many options but I want to know which one will be the best one. So I want some experienced people over here to suggest me some good Digi cams with minimum 12 mp camera.
