best cooler for intel i5-3570k processor

I have been using my system since 2 years and it was working fine by now and I did not had any issues. From a week I don’t know what has gone wrong with it and now the processor is getting overheated. I have tried applying thermal paste to the same but it is not making any difference in the temperature. I have asked about the same to some of my friends and they have suggested me to some either upgrade the cpu or the cooler. I am not willing to invest in cpu for now but I will like to know the best cooler that can handle Intel i5-3570k processor without any issues. Any suggestion.
