The scenario-
I recently purchased a second Corsair Force 3 120GB HDD mainly to double the size of my C:\Drive and to improve performance.
Motherboard- Z68XP-UD3
So I formatted my computer and plugged the 2 SSDs into the 2 SATA 3 ports on the motherboard- Configured this to RAID settings in the BIOS. In the RAID configuration (BIOS) I configured these to 2 drives to RAID0) Did a windows installation. Installed all the drivers and did all that and ran the windows experience index-
PRIMARY HARD DISK = 6.0
This is really F bad before with 1 drive I was getting 7.8 out of 7.9
I ran ATTO Disk bench and got some very strange results.
The write speeds where way faster!!!
Example- Write 500MB/s READ 46MB/s
With 1 disk I was getting about 550 MB/s Read and Write
I was expecting to get about 900MB/s read and write in this configuration-
I noticed that the 2 disks are running different firmware but when I download Corsairs firmware update tool it doesn't see the drives!
Doing large file copies use a lot of CPU about 30% of a i7 2600K
Are there any specific drivers I can install to fix this problem?
