Is the PSU melting my Mouse wire ?

From last few days my mouse was not working properly. Sometimes it connect but after few minutes it use to show me disconnected. I done many researches, RND and troubleshooting, I reinstalled its driver, unplugged, re-plugged, changed all necessary settings but still the problem was as it is. Yesterday suddenly I saw its wire was melting. Is it due to psu or might be some other issue, can anybody suggest me?

SMPS is faulty, you have to change your SMPS ,it’s not working properly , may be it damaged or not supplying alternate current or voltage to the internal peripheral of the computer frequently. Most probably wire melts due to two reason , or may be u have yours earthling problem , a specific voltage needed to mouse which yours mouse is not getting properly in a range . There are two steps-do RND on PSU, remove out PSU and check it properly. in case if you find psu is proper than go for further steps see that is your home earthing is proper.
