Seagate barracuda 7200.14 is not getting detected in BIOS

I was using 250GB hard drive in my PC and i bought Seagate barracuda 7200.14 hard and after connecting it with my computer when I start my PC at that time it does not detected in the BIOS. I don’t know what is wrong with my Seagate barracuda 7200.14. what should I do to solve this problem?

With which controller are you trying? If you are using Marvell controller then I will suggest you to try Intel controllers and then you have to see whether it makes any difference or not? You should also provide more information about your computer.

After reading your problem I will suggest you to first disconnect your Seagate barracuda 7200.14 from your computer and after disconnecting the hard drive you have to connect it again properly and after connecting it again you have to check whether you can see hard drive in the BIOS or not? if after re connecting the hard drive also same problem is occurring then you have to connect your Seagate barracuda 7200.14 hard drive with any other port and then check what the result . many times swapping the post can solve this type of problem.

I have tried to solve this problem by resetting the BIOS to default but that does not help me to solve this problem. Now after that I have also tried to solve this problem by connecting the hard drive with different computer but that does not help me also. is there any way to fix this issue?

I think problem is with your Seagate barracuda 7200.14. You should contact Seagate support and tell them about the problem which you are facing with Seagate barracuda 7200.14 and after that they will help you to solve this problem.
