TallyGenicom 8008 printer drivers for Windows 7 64-bit

Currently I am using the TallyGenicom 8008 which is almost 7 year old. It is installed on the office network. We use this printer to print from a few Windows 7 32-bit PC and a variety of older XP and Vista systems. Now few of my clients got a Windows 7 64-bit notebook and would like to use with this printer but the problem is there is no driver found for Windows 7 64-bit either on installation disk or online. Is there anywhere else?

Did you try installing Windows vista 64bit drivers in compatibility mode? I used the same drivers and I didn’t see any problem with installing the printer via Devices & Printers>Add Printer>Add a local printer>Use existing port>USB001>Have Disk>Browse. I located the directory path and clicked on the .inf file, then click OK. The installation started well and at the end it prompts me to enter printer name. I chose "Tally Genicom 8108N" as suggested. Now the printer is appearing in Devices & Printers.

I think that the Dascom is not providing an x64 driver for the 8008. But later while I managed to gets it working on Windows 7 64-bit using the Windows Vista 64-bit driver. It is not working perfectly but I can barely print from it.
