Logitech C920 Webcam recording only to MP4

Right now I am using the Logitech HD pro C920 webcam. The thing is, it is recording video only in MP4 format or something other than Windows media video format. I would like to save those files into H.264. I think that camera should compression like thing which should allow me to store any recordings in this type of file format.

Yes it might be possible but only by the use of Logitech software which is installed on Windows 7. However if there is a special program other than Logitech software, then you can sue that see H264 stream properly. But I don’t think that there is any third party software compatible with Logitech webcam.

I don’t think that you need Logitech software or something else to record in H.264. Here is the statement:
