After installing 8GB ram several blue screens start to appear.

I have a PC in which I have windows 7 and have AMD Phenom IIx4 955 processor and Gigabyte gtx 470 fermi as a video card. After I installed it the blue screens started to appear. The compatibility was fine. While installing it everything was fine but in the last several minutes the blue screens appears. Does someone know about this problem?

I have searched in the internet and found that you can run Memory Diagnostic. The Memory Diagnostic can be run in memory as well as in normal mode. One has to run the test using memory cache and other one runs without it. What if the memory is bad just check it with the help of memtest86. Because the Memory that is actually passing the memory test is not 100% perfect.

There is two slot given try to swap your RAM in the other slot. First try to confirm that the RAM you bought is correctly working. Try the ram in other PC. If it doesn’t work then have a replace. If the new ram is also having the same problem then it may be problem with your bios.

I know the solution for your problem. I have searched for the memory specs recommended frequency for my ram. Then I found that the recommended frequency is 800Mhz. in my case c was automatically setting the RAM frequency.
