Call function is not working with Altec Lansing Backbeat 906 Headset

I have recently bought Altec Lansing Backbeat 906 and it is working well for music but then when I am answering call then I am not getting any sound but then the people on the other side are able to hear me without any issues, I don’t know what is wrong with the, I have tried changing the configurations on my PDA device like “Headset Profile” but then it is not making any difference, is there anything that I can do about it??

I was having the same issue but then now I have solved it out with a workaround, just perform the below solution and see if it is helping:

• First delete all the Bluetooth services of the backbeat and then make a soft reset.
• After that reinstalled Bacbeat Bluetooth services by going in to the Bluetooth manager with the below order:
  
  • Activate “Hands free service with call function”
  • Deactivate “audio stream”
  • Activate “high quality audio stream headset”

Just try it out and then let me know if it is helping.

I am having the same issue with Bacbeat Headset: 906/R Backbeat. 80771-05, Configuration 04/09, Code: JE, I have paired it up with HTC Desire in my case i am not having any issues in hearing the music but then during call I am not able to hear the sound of the other person where as he can hear mine, I have checked out and made sure that the volume is set to maximum but then it is not making any difference, I have tried out the above solution but then it is not making any difference, is there any other thing that I can try out??

I am not very sure about your case but then I was having the same issue and later I found that the phone was not paired up with the phone and it was just paired with the audio,, just check if you are having the same case.
