HPDM agent cannot update WES 7

There are several new HP 6360t thin clients based on WES7. The problem is I cannot capture an image of these clients. I think that HPDM server causing this problem but I cannot update agent. Without this I cannot solve the problem. Server repository does not contain WES7 folders like other supported OS's. On WES7 HPDM server works fine. I checked it in other thin clients. In my case the HPDM server is of version 4.4.3 which is only compatible with WES7. Does anyone know why there are no WES7 folders in the repository?

I think that there are no HP DM 4.4.3 available yet. You might have got the wrong information somehow. The current version is actually HP DM 4.4. Please confirm it once again HP site. You may be having the Build Version. Check the release notes to get the proper information.

Actually I have seen it like this way. If I go to the HPDM Console, there you will see Help-->About. It will open a Windows saying Version is 4.4.3610.12785. I downloaded the latest version of HPDM and also tried the updating client but nothing successfully completed. Whenever I try to update on any WES7 devices, it only shows some kind of lengthy error message.

In my case I am actually using the separate FTP server and I can use the FTP service without any error or problem. So the problem is only with WES7 clients since there were no issues noticed in WES 2009 clients.

To solve the issue you need to get the new initrd file from here. Copy that file in C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP Device Manager\Server\Repository\Tools\Imaging\clientkit. You have to replace the older file. Now this new updated Imaging directory from the server repository used by all ftp repositories. After that synchronize the server repository using the ftp repository so that it can be synchronized for the agents as well as imaging tools. Now you can easily update the agent.
