Any Thin client with support of 3G connection

I am thinking about connect remote offices using the 3G connection. So is there any thin client which supports 3G. The good choice is TC and 3G modem is good choice. The office environment is fully one VMware VDI visualization.

As far as I know that the Thin Clients does not come with the support of Cell carrier access options. But you can try thin client with wireless access and you can use the Mobile Broadband Wireless Router? I know about the HP t5740e which has WiFI upgrade option via Mini PCIe slot. If your carrier 3G HSPA+ or LTE or WiMAX, then it would be easy to use.

Actually I wasn’t thinking about that. I am looking forward to use USB 3G modem. There is no way I can use the wireless router. I can say that t5740e is a best choice since it has Windows 7 and WiFi option.

Does thin clients allow us to use USB 3G modem?

If not, is there any alternative solution?

You didn’t get my point. What I was saying was to use MiFi modem or device. You should try to find a 3G modem with a WiFi AP integrated in it. The thing is you are able to connect multiple TCs using only one MiFi. But you have to use optional Wireless adaptor. So far I didn’t see any thin clients with 3G modem support. I think that there is no demand for it. Even if you get one, you should have proper driver support.

Some thin client comes with USB port. So I think that in that there is no problem with using the USB modem if you can install drivers and its compatible software. But so far there are no such thin clients with the support of 3G connection or USB modem. Everything should be based on LAN or WLAN connection.
