    Logitech c910 does not work after sleep mode

    Hello friends, I am having the Logitech c910, it is really great webcam to use. I have installed it on my system which is having the Windows 7. But from so many days I am finding the problem with it, as it not working when I start my system from sleep mode. It is complete get stopped. To start it I need to unplug it and plug it again on to the system. So is there any solution to fix the problem? Please help me with it. Thank you.

    It can be solving easily, you just need to adjust the power management settings of you system. For that you follow the following steps.

    • Go to control panel
    • Then go to system
    • In the System go to device manager
    • In that you will be able to Universal Serial Bus Controllers, just expand it
    • Right click on each device and select Properties.
    • Click on Power Management Tab
    • Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”
    • Click on OK and Restart the computer


    Also wanted to say if the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) is not been supported on your system then above method will not work for you.

    I would say that you better try to update the windows or try to get the latest drivers of the webcam, which might be having the solution to fix the problem of yours, so you better check it.

    In order to fix the issue of non-functioning Logitech C910 webcam after wake from sleep mode, do the following in Win 7:

    1. goto Screen Saver
    2. change power settings
    3. change plan settings
    4. change advanced power settings
    5. goto sleep
    6. disable hybrid sleep
