If you wanted to change the PSU and video card then i would suggest that you better search for the following one as it might be best, you will get it from newegg, so you better search it,

    • CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 V2 500W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply
    • PowerColor AX6850 1GBD5-DH Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

I would also suggest that you better go for the PowerColor AX6850, if you are going with this card then i would say that you better check the following requirement for the card.

    • PCI Express based PC with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard
    • 500 Watt or greater power supply recommended
    • Certified power supplies are recommended.
    • Minimum 1 GB of system memory
    • Blu-ray™ playback requires Blu-ray drive and a Blu-ray disc

If you are going with the above suggestion then let me tell you that the physical dimensions of the AX6850 on the Powercolor site is 215.9mmx111.2mmx38mm or 223.3mmx111.2mmx38mm which will overlap on 2 SATA ports on Motherboard. I am also changing the card on my system and have remove the it out and also changing processor of it. There is a heatsink right below PCI Express slot which is been cover with graphics card, if you fitting the card then sure that card's cover is high enough to stay above the heatsink which is exact above PCI slot. Many people have fitted the card by removing the fan cover in order to place larger cards on Inspiron 570.

There are plenty of the cards which are been the best, but the problem is that you need to check the size of the cards that it will fit to the system or not, and also you will be able to get it. From the above list i would suggest that you can go for SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870, is best and when you are fitting this card then make sure that fan shroud be low and forgot 2 SATA ports on the motherboard. It is been best for Inspiron series card. Even you can go for ASUS HD6850 DirectCU, which is also good one, but i think that it is out of stock.

I am using the MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone OC GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) for my system, using it at low, but will be testing it at full load, if you are having the AMD 645 Athlon, then it will best for this card.

I would suggest you for ASUS Radeon HD 6870, which is been available on newegg which will be costing you 170$ without shipping cost, so you can check about it and think about it that you wanted to go for this one or not. It is 1 GB, 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP and CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity.
