How to Transfer files from the Dell XPS Computer with Windows 7

Hi friends, recently I have an issue with my Dell XPS 8300 Computer for file transferring. I have made use of Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for transferring files from old XPS Computer with Windows 7 to my new XPS 8300 computer. I have transferred all files, but when I try to open that files which I have transfer is not able to open it. So why this issue is there for opening file. Is there a reason why this could be happening? Thanks.

Try to use Windows Easy Transfer; this application is used for transferring image from old System to the new one. And in order to view those file the user have to restore that file in order to view that particular file. But for that this app have to be install on both system.
