Sound not working properly in Dell GX620

Hi friends, I have Dell GX620 with WinXP SP2 OS. Day before yesterday when I have started my system I have seen that the welcome sound of Windows XP is not heard, I have ignored that but when I try to play some Music or videos in my System I have seen the same issue. I have seen the speaker connection it’s fine and also have done several tricks to make my Speaker or sound to work back but however I fail to do this. Is there any internal issue or I am missing something. If you people have any ideas regarding this issue or have any suggestion to overcome this issue then please let me know. I'm quite the noob and I would really appreciate your guys help!!

One of the better solutions for this issue is to visit the official site of Dell and get soundmax driver and install it in your System and after installation of this Driver restart your System, may this will help you out to overcome this issue.
