Can’t find the solution center for HP Photosmart C8180 in my computer.

Hi, I have been using HP Photosmart C8180 for a while. I have pc which is also a HP with the windows vista(64 bit). When I installed my printer for very first time I was able to use solution center. But now it has suddenly disappeared from my pc and I am not able to use it. My printer is working fine but this software has vanished. Where can I find this “solution center”?

You should try this to regain your drivers:
1. Insert the driver cd into rom
2. When setup starts cancel it then go to my computer.
3. Right click on cd drive and select on open/explore.
4. You will find the folder “util”
5. Open that folder and go to “ccc”
6. As you said you have hp computer select and execute the L3uninstall.exe. for those who don’t have hp computer they can execute the L4uninstall.exe file.
7. After the process of uninstalling is complete restart your computer.
8. Now install the fresh copy of software and drivers from your cd or download the latest drivers from internet.

Follow the instructions to find your missing file:
1. Go to “my computer”
2. Now go to “program files (x86)”
3. There locate the HP folder.
4. Then open the folder “digital imaging”.
5. Now open bin folder.
6. Now find the file hpqdirec.exe and run this file to start the solution center.

Hey, is there any other way of finding the lost file. I had downloaded the solution center software and also installed it successfully, but now I am not able to find software.

: If you had downloaded the copy of the drivers then follow the instructions below:
1. Go to start menu and then go to run.
2. In run command type %temp%.
3. Now find the file with the name starting with 7z. e.g.: 7zsw165
4. If you find the file go to that folder and find the “util” folder.
5. Open the folder named “ccc”.
6. Now if you have hp pc then execute the L3uninstall.exe or else execute L4uninstall.exe.
7. After completing the un-installation process, restart the pc.
8. Now you need a new drivers , just visit hp website there you will find the appropriate drivers for your computer. Don’t download any drivers from unsafe places as it can be affected by the virus.
