Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-Ray Player is frozen

I have Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-ray Player, while doing the update of my firmware I lost my electricity connection. When it came back I was prompted for update again, I downloaded it again. When i completed the installation it automatically turn off. I tried turning on it but every time I turn on it gets froze at the start.

Ok try this one , press and hold the ff button from the system for 8 seconds. It will help you rollback to the previous state. It should help you if not then please send it to the service center.

I did just as you said but there was no success. I tried that method 2-3 times but no sign of rollback. It was brand new player so I guess I will return it to the service or the shop from where I bought it.

Guys this worked for me! I was also trying to update my firmware but it didn’t go well with my player. I saw some people mentioning as holding “ff” button works. I tried even that but to no improvement. Then I made cd of latest firmware and tried running into my player but again all my work was failure.
Then I downloaded that firmware to my USB pen-drive and tried running it and to my surprise it worked. My player recognized the driver from my pen-drive and then I pressed the ff button to reset my player.
