Quantum Webcam is installed properly on windows 7 but no application is able to use it.

Hi, I have recently ordered Quantum Webcam (QHM500-8LM(s))
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit OS)
it got installed properly (its plug n play device)
If i go in printer and devices i am able to see it without any errors.
but it doesnt work with any application(Skype, yahoo, any video capture software)
it says its not plugged in.
this webcam is with mic.
mic works properly but webcam is not working.
what should i do

Well, have you checked in device manager if there is any error message next to the webcam devices or such? If so then under imaging device or unknown device listed, right click on the webcam listed there, click on Uninstall. After that download the drivers from here and install it on your machine. Check by launching skype if you can start the webcam page on screen.
