Getting slow speed while read/write with Corsair Force 3 180GB SSD in MBP 8

Most lately I have purchased Corsair Force 3 180GB SSD. I have MacBook Pro that I have purchased 3 weeks back. Is has a basic configuration. The SSD that I have newly acquired seems not compatible with the MacBook Pro don't know why? Also the desktop stated taking much time to load as soon as I have installed Lion. The speed for read and write seems to be too slow and disappointing.

I guess there is some problem in your configuration. It is not upto the mark to support your recent hardware that you have installed. I suggest you to remove the Lion operating system from your MacBook pro. At least will give you much speed than you are actually getting recently. Just try an experiment what I have suggested.

Is the EFI progressive on your MacBook. The most cutting edge form was discommandd Oct 26. I get preferable speeds over you from those tests. If its all the same to you composing a great index to the drive then erasing it attempt:

time dd if=testfile of=/dev/null bs=4k count=4194304
Sequential write/read. I got 490MB/s+ using this.

I am seeing different SSD are reaching the 490 speed/write rating with the same benchmarking system. According to me its not because of Mac that it is getting that speed. Corsair drives should have issues with OS X I figure. I trust the RMA system will tell me the last, but if not, I realize what I am determined to do.

I purchased a Corsair 120GB Force GT for my 2011 13" MacBook Pro 8,1. I purchased this Corsair Force GT for the reason that I like the specifications and would be unable to hold up to indicate off to my mates with alternate slower-specced SSDs. I knew the dangers following perusing this discussion but acquired it anyway, looks like I got a spot unlucky. Peruse speeds are excellent, but write speeds are wretched. What's far more atrocious is that I've had it in for 2 days and at present had about 3 lockups.

I have the best drivers under right hardware, but I genuinely cannot recommend these drives for MacBooks. People are grumbling about lockups and speeds on both sata II and sata III. Once in a while you do what needs to be done and turned out worse off.

I was utilizing the PC which got locked suddenly while it was running. Actually, without lockups, this could have been to a limited extent longer than the write technique. That methodology might as well have taken ~40 seconds, but it took 110 seconds, which is over a moment of lockups. According to me it gets locked up under huge access. Did a Time Machine alternate and it bolted up about 10 times the same time as. Sleep has been fine, did have an issue leaving hibernation however took about 11 moments once. Hard drive doze is turned off. Lack the capacity to turn off SMS-have a HDD in optibay.
