pc wont boot nor making any sound when turning it on

hey guys my old pc which was operating very well, does not boot up now........ when i try to start my pc it dosent start and it does not make any sound for indication of any problem...... the hdd is working on other system..... for trouble shooting when i removed the ram it did not make any sound of countinuous beeping..... so i want to what would be the prob?????? is it with the motherboard or the smps......

Just tell yr PC configuration. and try to change the motherboard battery. It may be weak.

Try to remove all usb devices from the motherboard and then try to boot the pc. What is the make or model of the power supply that you have? If you have 2 stick of rams then try putting only 1 ram and then try to boot the pc and test the other as well. It could be a problem with the psu or the ram, you would never know.
