    Lenovo Ideacentre Q150 overheating

I have been using this computer without any problem from the past few weeks. It's utilized pretty much merely like a DVR and to watch Netflix as well as Hulu. Then as regards a month before it started getting stutter problems, and ultimately began to choke up while watching TV. I have installed Real Temp and establish that while watching recorded displays on Windows Media Center, the CPU along with GPU would together climb in temps over 76-78°c range. This is noticeably excessively hot. Is there any way to fix this issue in this computer?

GPU overheating is the issue of one found in the final versions of Windows 7 Professional. Those who faces up to this overheating problem playing 3D games said, it runs fine for a few minutes at first. Then become extremely choppy but due to the GPU hit 110 C, which, then underclock greatly to the decrease in temperature. However, if the system was run with no 3D applications, the temperature is lower.

The power management driver installed, you should definitely have (even though the Power Manager is useful but optional). And I recommend you to install the latest graphics drivers.

Thus the first step you can do is trying SpeedFan utility, as it should be able to see the temperature sensors in the system. If one of them works, you can get a chance to see the reading jump or place before the system shuts down. The GPU can be much hotter than a CPU, a CPU is a 65 max gpu up to ca 100 ~ 120, the times are rather normal.

I do not see a problem; apart from that it can be the power supply is right?

These PC's running mostly with laptop technology, and are thus more expensive in relation whatsoever. Technically, they are power somewhere in the midfield, but also have the problem that they, just like a laptop, almost not / can be retrofitted. For work, the internet, even for a little game between them but are absolutely suitable. There is really only the question why you want to have the device. And how big the purse is. For where a desktop PC without any problems for years by retrofitting currently remains the All in One PC must be replaced because it no longer meets the increased demands on the hardware can withstand.

In normal use, the devices are designed so that you get no temperature problems. As always, almost exclusively laptop technology is installed, you need because you do not worry. Läppis mobile should indeed have no thermal problems, and then the technique has the stationary anyway. In comparison to Läppi has the all-in-One computer even comparatively much space in the "housing"

Move the computer to a place lower to the ground. Cold air sinks, then the temperature on Earth usually be a few degrees cooler than up on a desk.

Put the computer in a book or other flat, slightly raised object. This will increase airflow around the case and keep the computer cooler.

Make sure all the fans on your computer is working properly. When the computer is turned on, the fans at the back of the case spinning noticeably, and the fan on your graphics card (if you have one). If not, they can be replaced.

You're lucky that it has seized yet. Now it is the immediately difficult to guess whether the cooler is about to go or the lack of thermal paste but it is not working as it should have here an alternative you could consider - has the self. Once a year, take the blue Baes and vacuum radiator from dust and dirt. All you have is to make sure it fits your socket on the motherboard otherwise there adapters.
