Does continuous formatting damages the hard disk

I want to know that does continous formatting damages the hard disk. And if it does what are the precautions to take.
And also what is the life span of hard disk.

I dont think that continuous formatting of hard drive effects the hard disk. Continuous formatting wont affect HDD Much if the HD is neatly maintained. Rejecting Programs might be due to a virus. You can also try Disk Defragmenting to maintain your Hard disk well. [Right click on Local Partition, Then Properties -> Tools -> Defragment].
