Need a High Priority built for the Battlefield 3 game

I am willing to get a high priority built for Battlefield 3 game and above and I want it mostly for gaming, and some video/audio streaming gaming and I am preferring AMD processor, gigabyte motherboard, radeon graphics card and I also want to have it for overclocking and SLI or Crossfire as well but you all can suggest me other configurations and specifications as well and I have a budget of $1000-$15000. Any suggestion for this will be appreciated

I think that the following is the best choice and I am saying it so because I am using these and trust me this is the best configuration I ever had and this will cost you in between $1400 to $1500 which is under your budget as well. Just check it out:
    • Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I52500K
    • 2x EVGA 012-P3-1571-AR GeForce GTX 570 HD w/Display-Port (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
    • ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

I think that the Intel Core i7-2600K or i5-2500K or Core i3-2100 will be better than having a AMD processor but you will have to pay some extra for that and if that’s not the problem then I will suggest you to get the Intel Core i7-2600K processor as it has the following good features:
    • 8-Way Multi-Task Processing
    • Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0
    • Intel Hyper-Threading Technology
    • Intel Smart Cache of 8 mb
    • Intel HD Graphics 3000

Re: Need a High Priority built for the Battlefield 3 game

As far as my test I have found that the Core i7 processor with a single GeForce GTX 580 card won’t be able to give the expected performance for the Battlefield 3 and while testing them I had noticed that there was a 49% increase in clock speed and only a 6% increase in frame rates so I think that the Battlefield 3 is not that cpu demanding. If you think that I am wrong then you all can perform a test on these as well and check out the difference in performance you all are getting.

If you are planning to go for 212+ then you can have the following but then you won’t get i5 Sandy but I think that it won’t make much difference:
    • Intel Core 2 Duo
    • Intel Pentium
    • Intel Celeron
    • Intel Core i7 Extreme
    • Intel Core i7
    • Intel Core 2 Extreme

Re: Need a High Priority built for the Battlefield 3 game

I have recently switched to i5 2500k and I was using the AMD 955 and trust me I have experienced a much better performance.I mean I was getting 15-20 FPS previously when I was using the AMD 955 and now with the i5 2500k I have noticed that I am getting 60+ when it is on ultra setting.I will also suggest you to use the hyper 212 Plus with a 1155 mobo as it really fits well under 1156 settings. Hope that helps
