The dual radiator design with 6 heat pipes provides more surface area, better heat distribution and increased airflow efficiency than conventional tower designs and has been for the ultimate in quiet cooling performance in conjunction with the included NF-P14 (140mm) and NF-P12 (120mm) fans developed. Both fans feature Vortex-Control Notches, SCD technology and SSO-bearing premium to an optimal balance of performance and refinement to achieve.

The asymmetrical design of the NH-D14 offers on the side of the RAM banks more freedom and guarantees in spite of the size of the cooler good compatibility. The NF-P14 fan is on the underside of the fin-stacks, and thus contributes not only to cool the CPU, but also generates a strong flow of air over bystanders motherboard components and coolers.

Roots Thermalright comes with the package. As was the HR-02 , the package again consists of a brown cardboard box, which only the company name and cooler, and the supported base was printed. The newly developed 140-mm fan, which bears the name TR-TY140 sets, at the Thermalright Silver Arrow equal in duplicate. The fan has a 140-mm format, but the holes used to mount the 120-mm fan. The speed range of the TR-TY140 starts at around 900 U / min and goes up to 1,300 U / min, the fan can be controlled, among other things on the PWM pin. The maximum air flow rate is at full speed at 125 m³ / h, where the fan will be 21 dB (A) should be loud. The fuel consumption is at an operating voltage of twelve volts at approximately 2.4 watts.

Noctua is a permanent place in the front area of the high-end CPU cooler and a lot of satisfied customers is assured. In addition to the ordinary cooling performance convinced with a very high quality standard, a cross-platform secure mounting system and an excellent fan addition. Building on these foundations Noctua blows once again the attack on the very top end and presented with the NH-D14 CPU Cooler in one mammoth size, the use of both active 140-/120-mm-Doppel- with single or semi passive ventilation and new standards and Prolimatech Megahalems wants.

Noctua is well known for the strings tuned, high-quality total package. This gives the buyer the least expensive precious cooler in addition to the NH-D14-base construction with the NF-P12 and the new NF-P14 FLX two fans in the hotel's top-line 120-mm, respectively, 140-mm format. Also included are two power adapter and a Y-cable to throttle the fan speed and reduce the overall volume. Also found with the SecuFirm2 appropriate installation material for current AMD and Intel platforms, including German installation instructions and matching screwdriver. Rounding out the package with premium thermal compound Noctua's NT-H1.

The noctua is an excellent heat sink with good pasta and good fans. The silver-arrow is often overestimated (other smaller sinks, such as Supermega, do even better). The Q6600 does not generate a load so high as to point out significant differences of 2 towers arising from Thermalright. The Silver certainly will go a little better than your Noctua, but there are also many other factors to assess: fans, pulp preparation, point temperature of silver (which may simply be oversized for a q6600).

Sandy Bridge brings with it many new features, expanding the capabilities of these CPUs now have an integrated graphics core in the day. As if all this were not enough, the home of Santa Clara has astonished even the overclocking enthusiasts, as never seen before these new CPUs, K versions, allow plenty of room for overclocking, walking with ease and without this implying the adoption special cooling systems. A good air system is able to provide the dissipation necessary to push this CPU to the limit manageable in daily use, significant limitation since the frequencies close to 5 GHz. The market is historically linked to overclock CPU Cooler, the thriving commercial growth in recent years is the obvious answer to the CPU more prone to this practice. The future, as demonstrated precisely Sandy Bridge, seems to turn in favor of these coolers, as long as you choose high quality products.

Thermalright is a brand that needs no introduction, since over the years has managed to become known thanks to the 'excellent quality of its products. Recently, the Taiwanese brand has been very active in the department VGA, because, after the Spitfire, has released the Shaman, the first GPU Heat Sink Heat Pipe has eight. Thermalright did not however lose sight of the CPU cooler market, introducing in the 'current year many solutions, among which the the Venomous, Tower HR-02 and the last in a series called the Silver Arrow.

The main feature, however, comes from the sector where there are two fans by fans "160mm" responsible to dispose of them quickly and silently between the heat dissipation fins. Actually used by the fans Thermalright are part of the new series are 140mm TY and mounted in a frame of 160x140mm.
