Have you already tested the hard drive. You can download a diagnostic tool from the manufacturer. Also have you run a checkdisk with "scan for and attempt to recover bad sectors" checked? It seems to be a message from the S.M.A.R.T. circuitry on the HDD. S.M.A.R.T. checks the health of your HDD and predicts failure. Sooner or later this hard drive is going to die so backup all data asap. And if it is under warranty then replace it.
