WLAN gateway stopped working.. help?

First time using techarena..
so basically I have a Wlan gateway (siemens gigaset se567) from telus. and it was working fine for a couple of months. It often drops the signal for wi-fi on the laptop but then the wifi suddenly stopped working all together. I can't connect to the default ip for the gateway via ethernet http://192.168.1.254/ and none of my laptops detect the wireless signal from my router (if there even is one cuz the wlan signal on the modem is off) ethernet doesn't work either if connected through a router. So is there a problem with the gateway itself? or is there some problem that I should fix. Oh, and the ethernet doesn't work either if connected through an router only a direct connection from gateway to comp works... can anyone help? thanks.

Can you try to switch to channel 11, and disbale the WEP until it works correctly. Since your test indicated DNS issue, to be on the safe side. In the DNS here, http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y19...LuX/Image7.jpg Uncheck the WAN, and enter manually 4.2.2.2
