Request for Update Scanner in windows vista

Last month I buy this scanner and I want to update this scanner. This is the HP scanner and I connect it with the windows vista OS. Is there any way present in this vista to do this task on the system? If anyone having knowledge about it then please share your own thoughts. if ay person do this similar task on the Canon, Epson, and other kind of Hp similar scanner then please share your won thoughts.
