How to prevent electrostatic Discharge with Corsair 600T?

I have come here to seek some help from you guys well the thing is that I have recently got a corsair 600T for myself but the problem is that I haven’t seen the hardware inside it. So that’s why I want to have a glimpse of all the configurations in my system, so I just want to know since the whole cabinet is covered with the black color how can i ground myself to prevent Electrostatic discharge while i am checking out the hardware of inside the system, so what do you all have to say about it please do mention something over here.

Check out for the antistatic wrist strap I think that’s a most important tool that you must be having so better look out for it. So that’s what I want to say here just hook that strap with a screw thread and earth any metal part that you think will be potentially hazardous for you so that’s one thing that you will have to take care of, now I have given the necessary information on that topic in case you need more information on it then please do feel free to ask here I am ready to give you the necessary information.

Thanks for the support and the solution that you have given here I am really happy with the advice that I have got here, I just want to say one thing that I do not want to damage any of my hardware with esd and hence I want to take maximum precaution while doing so. Your advice is definitely good but I want to know if that will really help me prevent ESD at 100%? What do you all think is that method so effective please do suggest me something.

I am one of the user who would like to share my experience with you all, well the thing is that I have all the assembled computers in a wooden case to prevent from any static damage also I make sure that I work on a carpet and also I put a socks on while working on the system, I know it is not a solution for the problem but a small suggestion from my side for you so that it will be helpful for you. You can try with this experimentation as well who knows it will work for you.

Yes that’s a good suggestion from your side I am really impressed with the suggestion that you have given yes it is worth considering but It will take some time to replace the cabinet with the wooden case so that will be a very difficult part while doing so, anyways I will first try with the first method that you have given and I appreciate your efforts for the same for solving out the issue for me.
