Unable to reduce noise of H70 fans

I recently acquired a particular system with having Corsair H70. Now the first time I turned the PC then I realized that there was some noise above normal from the PC and managed to source the H70. I checked that the fan only runs at about 1300rpm. I wonder if he has anything to do with the radiator when the air passes through push or pull configuration. I tried to turn the fans and they suck air inside the PC rather than outside, but make no difference. I wonder if the radiator fins could move or something. Please help.

See there are two fans provided. Do you know which fan is making the noise? If you don’t then just remove any one fan first than check whether the fan attached to the CPU is making noise and tries vice-versa. If both the fans are making the awful sound than just remove or unplug the fans clean them and install them again. I hope so that this may solve your problem. If solves then please reply.

I would try with different headers on your motherboard to power fans, and also make sure any fan control options in the BIOS are disabled. One more thing, make sure that both fans are pointing in the same direction, is an arrow pointing in the direction of air flow fan in one side of the fan. If no improvement, then we can replace the drive. I think this will surely work.

See there can be a problem in the power supple. So first do one thing, clean your fans which are making noise. Then clean the power supply fans too. Then restart your PC and check again. If the problem still occurs than try changing or replacing the old fan with new one. If still the problem remains and the fans are making noise than it can be narrowed to the fans in the power supply and replace the power supply. This may help.

I think that’s a honeycomb grill. Well it’s a good idea. You know I had the same problem with fans. They were too loud. Whenever I place my finger on the top of the grill of a fan, the air flow changes and the noise from the fan gets stop. I think this makes a perfect sense as most of the people will use exhaust not san intake. Well you can also try to check RPM and vibrations which may stop noise from the fans if possible.

If you have removed the fan and there is no sound, then the problem can be due to improper attachment and if the sound still persists then just place your hand on it and see whether it vibrates or not. If you have rubber washers than you can try to put it in between the screws and the rad something like these can be picked up at any hardware store for cheap, like around 5-10 cents each. I hope this may solve your problem.
