question My HDD coping speed is slow!!!

    Hey all,

I have a Toshiba satellite L655 it's supposed to be fast in coping files from partition to another on the HDD or from a flash memory but all i have when transferring data from/to flash memory is 10 MB/s -the speed starts from around 50 MB/s and drops to 10MB/s and remain on that- And around 20 MB/s when coping from partition to another or even on the same partition -it's also starts from 150 MB/s then drops to 20- is that normal speed?!!!

    Some Info. that may help:-

    -Core i5 processor M 450 @ 2.4 Hz
    -3 GB RAM
    -500 GB HDD
    -Win 7 x64-based PC
    -No. of partitions 4 NTFS
