Re: Want to buy a new ssd
Till yet I found 32GB Transcend SSD 2.5 inch. But this was more than Rs. 6500. It was round Rs.8000 approx. I do not think there is still yet some cheaper version available for the same. On the other hand intel has released a 40Gb SSD for $125. A similar series is Kingston SSDNow V Series 40GB. Which is around 75 euro. Converting that to indian currenty with shipping cost reach around Rs.8000

Re: Want to buy a new ssd
There are some important points that you need to consider while buying the new SSD. I am listing the point that should be taken care and wish that it will help you.
- Know the Key Ingredients
- Decide on Capacity
- Be aware of the Physical Dimensions of the Drive Currently Installed in your System
- Research the SSD's Performance
- Know the SSD's Power Consumption
- Check for TRIM Support
- Look for Warranty and Support Options

Re: Want to buy a new ssd
The second one that you have listed is above the rate that yoo mentioned that is, the OCZ Vertex 2 SATA II 2.5 inch SSD 60GB comes for a price of 7,250.00 Rs. Where else the OCZ Agility 2 SATA II 2.5 SSD would def. cost you below 5k bucks. It also gives outstanding performance. One of my friend stuck it in a ASUS n10jh netbook with only a Sata 1 controller, and got high 70s on writes on the qd32 randoms.
