    Seasonic s12II 520W vs Corsair vx550 PSU

I want a good PSU for my new computer. I have a two choice and both seem to be better. The one is Seasonic s12II 520W and the other one is Corsair vx550W. It is making me much trouble to decide among those two. I am not capable to discover the precise specification of the seasonic like several places i locate that it apparently has 3x12vrails at 18A and in several spaces it has 2x12V rails @20A. Some says it comes with 3 year warranty and some say it comes with 5. The corsair contains a 1x12V rail @41A by 5yr warranty. My GTX275 desires 40A. Which one is good do think? I know that there is vast price difference between them.

Essentially, for its position as a superiority PSU dealer, corsair is in debts a bunch to seasonic. The final is the acknowledged emperor from tech viewpoint except lacks in advertising support and corsair presently does that work, outstandingly. It does not produce whichever PSU lying on its individual (several models are tradition built). Corsair in addition supplies PSUs from CWT, an additional presumed producer. Their PSH as well as DSG models are outstanding but alongside seasonic out of luck. Therefore I'd say whichever component you purchase, from Corsair otherwise seasonic, first ensure that it is a 'seasonic within PSU, after that decide depending on cost/guarantee/ease of use things.

First of all I need to know what's your financial plan. I think that you should go for Corsair. No problem on guarantee otherwise 12V rail. Furthermore Seasonic accessibility can cause several issues. The innovative HX series by means of blue labels encompass 7 years assurance (excluding HX1000). For your GTX275 it is much enough if you are not using any additional heatsinker or cooler fan for this. Otherwise you might look for another.

Corsair doesn't enclose to be initiated like a power supply product to any further extent, like they've completed such a splatter while foremost incoming this marketplace in 2006 by way of the modular cable HX sequence. In 2007, they initiated additional PSUs: The VX450 as well as VX550, subsequently the TX650 plus TX750. Each and every one of these has non-removable cables. The VX550 not history: It's an additional elevated superiority, silence PSU made intended for Corsair, over again, by Seasonic. Amusingly, the TX650 is in addition prepared by Seasonic, except the VX550 as well as TX750 are both finished by Channel Well.

I think that you are more far behind on selecting the proper models. Those PSU models which you have mentioned are little old. Now there are more new models came to market with good warranty period and suitable for new generation computers. Corsair free GS edition and as far as I know they are improved than VX series. Therefore if you're a gamer who isn't that grave overclocks, 600w of the GS sequence is sufficient enough. The cost depends on the huge providers except considering the present cost drop on the vx series; it ought to draw closer in a respectable worth.
