Suggestion to buy a good processor

Hello friends, I am going to purchase a new processor but I am confused that which one will be good for me. I am confused between core i3 550 or core i5 650. My budget to buy that is around Rs. 8500/-. Actually I building a new system and I have decided to use asus p7h55-m motherboard, adata 2 GB DDR3 1333 MHz RAM and a 1 TB hard drive. I am using one nvidia geforce 9400 graphic card. Also suggest me for the graphic card within 6000/-.

Please reply as early as possible. I am waiting for your replies. Thank you very much.

Don’t use the PSU that comes with the Compaq PC. These PSU’s are bad for graphic card. My suggestion to you is to use PSU like Corsair VX450W. This will come around 3.8k. After changing your PSU, you go for ATI Radeon 5670 for 5.5k and Core i3 530 processor that will come around 5.5k. You can also use the i5 760 but for that you need to increase your budget by 1000. I hope this will help you to decide the things.

If you want to buy the i3 540 then you will get it around Rs. 6000/- and you have to pay about 6.5k for Nvidia GTS 250. This is better than the 5670 but you will miss the DX11 feature. You should make sure that before going to buy a new processor, you need to change the PSU. If you are using the 250W PSU then it can also damage or blow your system. So change the PSU first and then go for the processor and other things.

The best PSU that you can go for is Corsair CX400W. This will fit in your budget or if you can increase the budget for this then you can go for Corsair VX 450W. You can find it in any computer hardware shop nearby your place. If you are not able to get that then you can get that online. This will be the best way to buy that and you may also get some discount on that. Good Luck.
