I wanted to purchase gaming console for playing online games. Now days there are unlimited gaming consoles that are available in the market with different features. Each one is different from other. I am confused between these gaming consoles properties. I wanted to know the feature of the latest gaming available and special feature of that console so that I can go with it.

Play station was released in 1994 was the first of the ubiquitous PlayStation series of console and hand-held game devices. Play station 1 was the first gaming console for video game. It is an upgraded console for Net Yaroze, PSone and pocket station. It is a fifth generation video game console which can compete with Sega Saturn and Nintendo 64. Play station series includes a list of hardware such as PSX, a digital video recorder which can be integrated with the PlayStation and other gaming console. The main series of controller utilized by play station is DualShock which is a technology of vibration-feedback gamepad. It differs from the previous gaming console in two ways i.e. cosmetic change to the console and difference between graphical user interfaces.

The Pocketstation was a miniature game console. It was created by SCE as a peripheral for the original PlayStation and was released in the month of December, 1999. It also features monochrome LCD display, speaker and infrared communication device. Pocketstation can also be used as standard play station memory card by connecting it to a PlayStation memory card slot. It was on e of the most popular gaming consoles in the Japan. Data can be transferred to other PocketStations by making use of infrared port. The main function of Pocketstation is to play mini games transferred from disc.
