Want to upgrade Q6600 processor to QX9650

I am using q6600 processor on my system. Now i am looking to upgrade it to qx9650. Can i perform this up-gradation and will this have any effect on the performance of my machine? Does anyone have knowledge related with this problem? I greatly need your support on this issue. So please try to help me out. Thanks.

I have tried to upgrade q6600 to a qx9650. After trying this up-gradation i have found difference between the 2 at 3 GHz. I am getting the speed of 4.5 GHz with my QX9650 processor. I am quite satisfied with the performance of QX9650. So i will suggest you to do this up-gradation on your machine. I hope it will work fine.

I will suggest you to use 60GB Vertex 2 in your system. This will improve the responsiveness of your system. If you are having more interest in the gaming then you can go for the 1GB 460 GTX. Before six months i have upgraded my E6850 to QX9550. Now i am planning to again upgrade my system to something new one. Please suggest me some better option so that i can increase the performance of my machine. Do suggest me you view on this topic. Thanks.
