Swapping Antec P182 to Corsair Obsidian

I was using a Antec P182 and been using this cabinet since long, but I read about a new cabinet that had been introduced which is far better then then current cabinet which I am been using now. The name of the new cabinet is called Corsair Obsidian which I have heard have got more features then the current one which I have been using. Please help me out as to how can I swap the Antec P180 to Corsair Obsidian.

There are few simple steps that had to be carried out for the swapping of the Antec P182 to Corsair Obsidian as follows:
    1. Remove the bottom 140mm Fan that separates the bottom chamber with the upper.
    2. The fan depends on you if you want to change it or not, Because there is no vast temperature difference between the two.
    3. The rear fan should be made to be controlled by the system temperature, front-top radiator fan should be be controlled by NB temp.
    4. The other fan should be controlled by the Zalman controller which id situated in the front.

After all this setting the new cabinet is set for the setup.

Also the computer hardware specifications also play an important role for the setup of the new cabinet or the computer tower as the name suggest, the following hardware specification should be there for the proper setup of the cabinet that is being discussed above:
The CPU should be be 1.18125
    with VTTv= 1.335 and NBv= 1.543.
    Xeon X3350 (equivalence of Q9450)
    DFI LP LT X48-T2R
    GSkill 4x2gb DDR1066 (F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK)
    OCZ GameXstream 700w (OCZ700GXSSLI)
    Geforce 9800GX2 OC
2x Western Digital 640 Black edition (raid 0)
    Swiftech MCR320 (QP radiator)
    Dtek Fusion waterblock
    Swiftech MCW30 (Chipset Cooler)
    Swiftech MCRES-Micro Reservoir
    LightOn SATA DVD burner
    Petra DDCT Pump
You can swap this type of computer hardware specification to Corsair Obsidian.

Re: Swapping Antec P182 to Corsair Obsidian

The Corsair Obsidian is having a space for the water cooling as in the Antec P182, so there is no far difference for the swapping of the Antec P182 and the Corsair Obsidian. But the spacing of the Corsair Obsidian is far more then the Antec P182. You got to change the Water cooling system that is being found in the Antec P182 and get it swapped by the system that your going to use i.e the Corsair Obsidian.

The other option that you have with you is that you can got to the nearest retailer shop and just ask for the manuals of both the cabinet's before the installation of all the peripherals in the cabinet, you can check out whether it fits the new cabinet or not. The retailer can provide you with the specification details too if you got any doubts of the system that your are going to the install in your system.
