    After upgrading to G45/G43 Chipset driver getting the Black Screen

    I am making the use of the Windows 7 Home Premium on a Dell Studio desktop. Yesterday the Microsoft prompted me t o update the latest display adapter driver. I allowed it to update my driver, but started getting the problem of black screen when the log on screen is being displayed. I have never faced such problem so i am now looking to solve this issue out, but not getting the proper solution. Can anyone suggest me the solution for solving it out? Please help me out.

    I will recommend try the instruction which i am providing to you.
    • You need to log in the safe mode in order to roll back the driver.
    • Then you need to download the driver from the Intel site.
    • Try to install the driver.
    • After doing that try to reboot the system.

    Try it out it will definitely solve your problem.

    I have a solution for this problem. You try this out.
    1. Try to run the monitor on low resolution.
    2. While you are running any video, then try to close all other applications.
    3. Try to update the monitor drivers.
    4. You can also restore your system back to the point where the system was working properly.

    I was facing the same problem on my system. I tried the solution provide by the Steyn. After doing all that my monitor started working well. Now i am not facing any issue of black screen. It was really a nice solution as it helped me in solving the problem. I would like to thank Steyn for providing me the reply. Even others who are facing the same problem can try this out.
