Processor LED turns on when system shuts down (DP55KG)

I have a question related to my computer. When each time i shut down my PC , and it turn off. Then the red processor LED of my main board turns on. Even after, if i switch the PSU off and/or unplug the PSU it stays on. What i have to for that? Is there is any hardware problem ? Is there is any problem in my PSU (power supply unit)?

Your problem is related with Hardware. First You just check your motherboard connection. If there is a problem in front panel connection so this type of problem is occurs. So if you have knowledge of hardware so do it otherwise take reference from your mother manual, it will help you to create a all connection of motherboard. After that you check out the result.

When you shut down PC and it turn off, Then the red processor LED of main board turns on. Check your processor LED wires if they are not working well then change it. Why are you not call any hardware person for solving this problem. I don't think you have to pay high amount for that because it not major hardware problem.

If you check your PSU work properly or not ,that will help you to solve your problem. check your SMPS (switch mode power supply) power supply is OK or not. check on another computer so you will get the problem. If SMPS (switch mode power supply) is not working well so replace or change your SMPS (switch mode power supply).Try with new SMPS (switch mode power supply).

YES, you are right. It is related with hardware. You can also check your problem on internet. There is a different-different important web site available which will give you the solution for your problem. Took the help from hardware expert. If your computer in a warranty so repair it in warranty.
