Suitable PSU for my PC

I’m having AMD processor Phenom XII 3.1 GHz and using only 1 HDD (500GB) and 1 DVD writer.
I’ve decided to buy ATI HD 5850. For this I definitely need a PSU. My budget is limited but don’t want to compromise with PSU as well. So I’m thinking to go for Corsair VX 550w PSU.
Will it be enough for my system? Please post your suggestion.

Whenever there is a Graphic card support in a system the minimum required PSU for that is recommended at least 440. So if you are going for the a 550w then that is well and good. It is necessary that your system must get enough fuel while you play games and run heavy software's. A powerful PSU also determines stability of your system hardware.
