GT 330M throttled - can it be fixed? Sony VAIO CW2 (VPCCW2S1E)

I have just bought a Sony VAIO CW2 with a GT 330M GPU and have read that the flow of GPU is changed from its default setting. The core speed of the GT 330M is 575 MHz but it runs at a higher speed then that is reported by my CPU. Core speed is 475 MHz, Shared speed is 1045 MHz and memory speed is 680 MHz. Though the GT 330M is performing well, should it be perform at a level of a
    GT230M or GT 240M?

You have to download drivers for your card by providing the specific SOny hardware ID. Without the ID you can't install the drivers after installation. Once you download the drivers go to your desktop and create a folder amd named it. Extract your downloaded file from download window to the newly created file. After extracting, click on 'setup.exe' file under the folder and start installation. After complete installation reboot your system. After that right click on your desktop screen and go to NVIDIA control panel, then "preformance" then "device setting" and change setting into the desired one.

Properly read all the above posts regarding a problem of Logan.B. Now I would also like to clear something about this. According to my knowledge about this topic, Is it correct that the GPU automatically throttles to a lower speed when it not performing the desired tasks? Like Is it run at the speed which is set by us all time?

No, the speed optimization is optimized by "Powermizer" from NVIDIA. It detects whether you running a 2D or 3D application. If it found 2D application then it keeps the clocks low to save the power. But if it detected as an running of 3D application it build up whatever we overlocked it to.
