ASUS G73 Backlight Keyboard Won't Turn On

The keyboard of ASUS G73 does not illuminate normally and react more to F8 F9 F10 , there is a circle crossed out under the usual abbreviations , when I use these keys , as if the function was not supported by device. I already tried the combination Fn + Arrow Right , without success. When I open the QuickSet -> Screen and device - > backlight keyboard. There as something wrong : When " Off "is checked , both " busy ". Please help.

Without this type of material I can not tell you exactly what you must install software as pc starts but your explanation on the "lights "which seems simple gray options .This is a setting :
    - Time before pausing the ignition
    - Type of brightness .
If you want all the time " On " ( checked state lit ), the standby is not required and the type of lighting is prohibited. If you accept that the keyboard is off by default , so you can choose the type of light and especially the time to hand it to the off state.

The light sensor allows no surprise to adjust the backlight to the environment , while the motion sensor ( local ? ) can not turn at the approach of the user's hands , and the Turn off when it is no longer used . Autonomy could reach 10 days without charge , unless of course you do pexiez ( tense pexerFirst group , of course ) all night . A micro USB cable can also charge it without interrupting the input.

The backlight Wireless Keyboard automatically adjusts the brightness according to ambient through its sensors. The sensors detect when hands are approaching the keyboard and automatically turns on the backlight . It also turns off when the keyboard is no longer used . Therefore, it can take advantage of a precise illumination and a battery life longer (up to 10 days without charging. The actual lifetime of the battery varies depending on usage, settings and environmental conditions .

A good keyboard should allow for comfortable typing . Therefore , the wireless keyboard backlight integrates key system and Logitech PerfectStroke curved keys. System PerfectStroke to type so comfortable , fluid and silent. In addition , the design and the rounded edge of the keys Logitech ( Logitech curved keys) allow correct positioning of the fingers and invite them to slide from one key to another.

Otherwise, there is also the possibility to exchange the keyboard altogether , provided they are disassembled. Obviously , the result can only be partially correct , and tactile cues for the index are not the right place. For my part, to remove the keys without damaging it (provided that they are removable !) , I would suggest rather a piece of string tied to a loop, so it slides under the button and it pulls smoothly.

Alright, can you try to uninstall then reinstall ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities then reset BIOS then press Fn+A and see if the keyboard lights up or not. ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities can be found below.
    http://support.asus.com/download/dow..._type=26&os=30

Or else do a BIOS Reset:
    • Shutdown the notebook.
    • Start up the computer and hold F2 to enter bios.
    • go to the exit tab and restore factory defaults.
    • press F10 to save and exit.
