Dell gave a successor to its 2405WFP, which has probably been the 24-inch monitor the most popular of the year. If the 2407WFP improves several features of its predecessor, it added support especially HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), which means it will be compatible with future DRM Blu-Ray and HD-DVD.

Dell 2405WFP keeps the 1,000:1 contrast ratio but increases the response time. It should be noted here that Dell communicates both the white and black to gray to gray: 16 ms for the first case, 6 ms for the second. The 2407WFP is built around a slab active matrix TFT with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (WUXGA) and a brightness of 450 cd / m². This monitor has a USB hub 2.0 four ports and a multi-player card formats (CF I and II, MicroDrive, SM, MS, MS Pro, MS Duo (with adapter), SD, MM, Mini SD (with adapter)).

The new Dell 24-inch screen is actually a more entry level than the current 2407WFP-HC . First point to note is wide-gamut, that is to say, it will display more shades of color gamut that displays classic. Then, the overall design is substantially identical, but in fact reproduces that of the E228WFP , 22-inch mark. It inherits the ergonomics summary model 22 inch is limited to the inclination of the panel. The connector is also leaner than the 2407WFP-HC.

Asus VW266H also dazzle you with its display quality: enjoying Splendid Video Intelligence Technology, it performs a fine adjustment of color, brightness, contrast and sharpness of images, for best results. It also offers three different keys (Red, Yellow and Natural) and 5 preset video modes (Scene, Theatre, Game, Night and Standard ) readily available via access keys!

The Samsung SyncMaster 206BW is an excellent monitor, it is a fact. Our enthusiasm about him is justified: reactivity, color rendition, HDCP, design, Samsung can we not fly! However, we may find a few small details that may hinder the eyes of some. For example, the plastic shell looks very good indeed, but we still prefer metal. Like Dell with its latest series. Aluminum has made its debut on their new 2707WFP - the result is startling.

The SyncMaster 206BW, 20 inch version. The principle remains the same: the glossy plastic shell, a little messy, but extremely attractive. Outer Banks purposes. DVI with HDCP + VGA. Colors pre-calibrated. While playing the game on this monitor, The screen announces a response time of 2ms, our tests confirm the thing. The 206BW is extremely reactive, it is at that offer the best LCDs of the moment. Unless they have a 100 Hz mode, available only on a few TVs, you will not find an LCD screen with less ghosting than him on the market.

It is a very good result, although more accurate than the average. The colors are actually true in all contexts even if they are a little less than two screens 19 and 22 inches in this series, previously tested. The SyncMaster 226BW was 2.4, the SyncMaster 931BW retains its title screen most faithful public input ever tested, with an average of only 1.9! This difference may be seen a bit on the rendering of gray, as you can see in the rendering between the two monitors.
