hi....i'am new 2 dis forum....i jus wanna knw can any1 help me to configure a gaming cpu in a budget of 20,000rs/-..........!!!
If you are just talking about the processor then the best is Core i5 but if your budget is for entire computer then you might get some low configuration here. Basically I will recommend you to choose a Core 2 Duo processor with 4GB RAM and 1GB GPU support. Choose a Gigabyte board. The budget will got a little hight but you can adjust that in RAM and grahphic card.
Thnx dude.....i have configured one...
4GB ddr3
Intel Dh55TC-motherboard
Core i3-550
ATI -HD 5670
500gb seagate hdd
That configuration of you system looks quiet good for gaming. A Core i3 with 4GB RAM and a GPU support is quiet nice. I am going for HP Pavilion Elite. It is going to cost me around 30000 approx only for the cpu. Hp is providing Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit with Amd Athlon Quad Core processor with upto 6GB RAM and 512 ATI Radeon HD 5450 card.
Is the 6GBRAM ddr2 or ddr3.......?
The 6 gb RAM included with an HP Pavilion Elite is a DDR3 RAM and hence I think the performance of this desktop will be great while gaming. The only thing that is bothering me is AMD processor as I have heard it has some overheating issues but I still hope I get a good performance while playing games.
hi i m also configuring a new cpu.
could u tell me what was the cost of Intel- Dh55TC-motherboard and ATI -HD 5670 graphics card.
thanks in advance
The Intel Desktop Board DH55TC Motherboard would cost approx. Rs. 5,040/- but store price may differ. The XFX ATI Radeon HD 5670 Price in India will be Rs. 6,500/- Indian Rupee (INR) for 512MB model and 7,500/- for 1GB DDR5 version. Best part of this graphics card is that it requires no external power supply.
Searching the forums can help you to find your answers more quickly
The mobo Intel DH55TC has one PCI Express 2.0 x 16 bus add-in card connector, so it is possible to fit the Sapphire HD5670 graphics card into it. But as the Sapphire HD5670 video card is way to big in size, hence you will need a better computer case/cabinet so that it fits with your mobo and inside the cabinet.
is the following configuration ok???
amd fx 4100 3.6 ghz
4gb ddr3
windows professional 32bit
1gb graphics
500 gb sata

Yes piyushs96, you seems to have a great config if you got all these under 20K. But the config is good enough as per the gaming. I only doubt about the Windows OS you mentioned. is it Xp or 7? Because as i got to know Microsoft is pulling of all support for XP in next 2 years.
